The West Midlands Police and Crime Panel is looking for two independent members to help scrutinise and support the work of the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in reviewing the key strategic actions and decisions taken by the Police and Crime Commissioner to ensure they properly reflect the priorities of the public.
We’re looking for two committed and enthusiastic people who live or work in the West Midlands
- Who have a genuine interest in policing, community safety and services for victims;
- Can be an independent voice alongside elected councillors; and
- Are willing to listen to the views of all sections of our local communities.
This is a voluntary position (an unpaid role). You will be required to attend around six meetings a year. Travel expenses can be claimed and training will be given.
For an informal discussion please call Sarah Fradgley on 0121 303 1727.
Closing date: midnight Friday 6th March 2020
